Printed at the Greenwood Press, 1980, in celebration of Alan Chadwick's life's work.

 

 

 

On February 16, 1980, a gathering was held at Green Gulch to honor Alan Chadwick and his life's work. Alan was nearing his end―that was painfully obvious―and so Paul Lee organized this last farewell. About sixty or seventy of Alan's closest apprentices and friends were invited to the event, and each was given a copy of this broadside, which was printed by Jack Stauffacher at Paul's request. The copy shown above is the one received by Greg Haynes on that day, and treasured by him as a reminder of Alan all these years.
