Sonchus is a very desirable animal fodder and is an excellent compost builder, like borago but with more moisture. Considered a weed by many. The young shoots can be eaten like spinach, but must be cooked. Questions and answers. Earth worms, alfalfa, sonchus, money, synthetics, atmosphere. The importance of deep rooted plants.
